ThorneVet’s ColostrumVET is obtained from the first milking of seasonally grass-fed cows and tested to be free of any hormones, rBST, antibiotics, pesticides, and herbicides. ColostrumVET is produced using a specialized process that allows for preservation of the immune-supportive components of the colostrum, while also making it free from pathogens and contaminants. The finished product is tested to ensure high levels of immunoglobulins (at least 50 percent Immunoglobulin G), guaranteeing that ColostrumVET is abundant in immune-supportive compounds, including immunoglobulins, growth factors, lactoferrins, and proline-rich peptides.
