The ThorneVet “No List”
Our heritage goes back to 1984 and the founding of Thorne Research. Thorne Research had a longstanding reputation – earned over 18 years – of manufacturing superior quality nutritional supplements for human use when, in 2002, the ThorneVet product line became a part of Thorne Research. The original Thorne Research “No List” – first introduced in 1998 – became an integral part of the new ThorneVet in 2002, and the “No List” has remained an inseparable part of the ThorneVet philosophy since that time – for the past 18 years.
Simply put, the ThorneVet “No List” is a list of the substances that ThorneVet refuses to include in our nutritional supplement products. Unnecessary fillers, additives, and allergens are all included on the ThorneVet No List. In addition:
-
Ingredients that don’t have the necessary potency – are NO’s
-
Ingredients that contain any contaminants – are NO’s
-
Ingredients that can’t meet our testing standards – are NO’s
The ThorneVet No List speaks to the core of our company, to our commitment to provide high-quality nutritional supplements that contain research-backed ingredients, in effective amounts, that have the potency to meets label claims all the way up to the day of expiration.
The No List speaks to our commitment to provide veterinarians, pet parents, and companion animals with supplement products whose ingredients can be trusted to be consistent from batch to bottle.
There are many shortcuts and loopholes that supplement manufacturers can exploit for financial gain. ThorneVet’s No List protects our products from a loss in quality for the sake of the manufacturer’s gain.
